To go with our #TheBigSupport campaign we are looking for businesses that have had to adapt to the current situation to keep their business going. We are also looking for businesses who are supporting their local communities. A very small, independent restaurant that prior to lockdown had been donating meals to the ambulance crews. Since the lockdown they are only able to serve meals for customers once a week due to family commitments, but they did not want the Ambulance Crew to miss out. For the first 2 Saturdays they only cooked for the ambulance crew and some of the local community as they closed the restaurant and was trying to work out lockdown life logistics. After support from the local community with donations she was able to up her game and now is feeding the Yeovil Ambulance, Firecrew, Women's Maternity Hospital and A&E departments. Tiffins and tapas also feed local VIPs through the village volunteer group. Thus far since lock-down they have cooked just about 600 free meals.
