Friday saw the launch of Generosity Bank, an online platform that connects skilled volunteers and small businesses through skills-based volunteering. Founder Shana Doherty noticed that one of the main reasons that people do not volunteer is due to time commitments and there is a huge gap in the market for skills-based volunteering, specifically to benefit small businesses. Generosity Bank addresses both issues with a simple and easy to use self-service platform.
